![]() What was really a noticeable upgrade for my room was just adding 6 GIK acoustic panels to tame my slap echo. ![]() I'd probably have to have the ability to instantly switch back in forth between the to avr's to say for sure. So is XT32 better to my ears? I don't know, maybe. And I had used that feature on the old receiver before, but with the new avr I NEEDED it! I had a football game on and turned on the Reference Level Offset from 0 to 15 and my wife said "Thank you! I have a headache." So I know it wasn't my imagination. Setting the Reference Level Offset to 15 solved it. The surrounds were overbearing, they were overshadowing the dialogue. It seems like the bass is a bit punchier, and my God was Dynamic EQ and Volume way too annoying compared to the old setup when specifically watching NFL football and a couple of Netflix's children's shows. The Integra manual says that if I select 'Off' as the curve than the receiver will default to either Manual EQ or no EQ at all, which seems to be saying that Audyssey is disabled when no curve is selected.yet the Audyssey and Dynamic EQ lights still stay on indicting otherwise. I haven't done much critical listening yet but two things seem different. I recently went to the flat curve (using THX settings with no Re. I used the Audyssey app to set the EQ limit at 500Hz. I recently added Denon x3300 and took out the antimode and connected the front subs to sub1 out and the back subs to sub2 out. I had XT in a Denon 2113 and a antimode with 4 subs with a 5.1 setup. ![]() I've used both and in my room would take XT with room treatments over XT32 without room treatments.
